What have we been up to?

We want to give Jackson a head-start on emergency preparedness so we've been teaching him CPR.

Ana has been cooking some awesome Mexican cuisine for us- she even attempted tacos for the first time which turned out AWESOME! And you have to use the meat cleaver to make it official.

Jackson has been helping Ana with her english and Ana has been helping me w my spanish. We made some flashcards of body parts and took some pictures so I wouldn't forget where they belong.

Before Ana had to get her wisdom teeth out on Thursday we thought we'd better take her to the California classic In 'N Out.  She liked the burger but thinks Carls Jr. has better fries.

Here is Jackson "hidding" from mommy.

THE BEST THING SINCE SLICED BREAD:

OROWHEAT SANDWICH THINS!
First of all, they are only 100 calories per pair, but the big kicker: 5grams of fiber!
And, they taste great. I am SOLD!

For Jackson's birthday I wanted to have some nice pictures taken, so I was referred to a gal in the ward.  Here are the results, I think they are so great! But how can you not love this face?

Family in Town

We are lucky enough to have visitors in town this weekend! Gma and Gpa Boyle have come for a visit.  Friday we took a trip to the Huntington Library, as always it was an enjoyable visit.

Here is Jackson climbing the bamboo like a koala. Here is Ana, our sister-in-law who is staying with us to get some dental work done by Steve. We are so glad to have her, she is so much fun!

We also took a trip to  Olivera street where Ana was able to get some corn covered in mayo and chili powder, surprisingly yummy!
