I am a better dental student than baker
Jackson likes to try on different shoes. Tonight he was trying on dads basketball shoes. Gaurd or Forward? The little guy looks more like a gaurd to me.
With moms help I baked bread. Nicole made scones for dinner and told me to use the rest of the dough. so it was either 50 scones or a loaf and half of bread.

Civil Rights Day and More
Sorry friends and family for the lack of posting recently, I've been having technical difficulties uploading pictures. Here is a glimpse into what we did on our rainy day off last week.
1) We went to a place called Pho79 (I think that's what it was called,. A viatnamese place in Alhambra. It was right up Steve's alley. Jackson wasn't so sure about it.
Since then, Jackson has been babbling constantly and saying a few intelligble things. He understands a lot, such as "Where are your socks?" and "Can you throw this away?" He knows where the milk is and tries to open the fridge. He also likes to wear our shoes and he can actually make it from the bedroom to the living room in heels. He likes to sweep the floor and he will finally sit to read a book. Here are some cute pictures of him sitting in the laundry basket watching sports with Dad:

jackson all growed up
Last week Jackson and I walked up (litterally up the hill) to play with Madison. We were going to pick up the carpet cleaner, so my hands were going to be full on the way home, but I wanted Jackson to take a ball to play with. So we put this backpack on him and he walked all the way by himself. He looked and acted so big! But we can see he is still "just a little guy", drinking his bottle!

The Huntington
Thursday I was able to take Jackson and Madison to the Huntington Gardens, love that place! It was a bit of a challnege w two kiddos, but my friend Annette was with me, so she help keep an eye out. Props to those who do this all the time! They were really good for the most part, Jackson wanted to walk all the time and not ride in the stroller.
Friday Jackson and I got to spend our first day together since before the holiday, we folded clothes and he playing in the laundry basket for over an hour. He did get into a little mischief... my fault for leaving the cupboard open! You'll notice my shoes in the middle of the fray- Jackson has been wearing anyone's shoes he can put his feet in.

Happy New Year
Dear friends and family, the blog obviously took a holiday along w the family. Happy New Year:
Here is Jackson dancing to the music.
We were really reluctant to leave Idaho, we didn't want to go, but once we got here, we realized there are some benefits to living in California. We feel very blessed to have the opportunity to be here. Sat we were able to go spearfishing with our friends the Coons.
