Back in Blogness

Today Jackson was watching his new favorite move, Bambi. While I'm in the shower Jackson comes into the bathroom and says "mommy boo" which is to say in Jackson's language, Bambi's mom just got shot. (If you "boo" something you shoot at it.)  I said Oh, that's too bad, do you need a hug? But he didn't. He was just informing me.  I though he was being pretty perceptive to realize that was kind of a big deal.

Please don't call CPS, yes the frying pan is hot, but Jackson really wanted to help!  His new favorite thing is to stand on the "bucket" of flour to see what is going on in the Kitchen or reach things on the counter like a "star" (a sugar cookie shaped like a star).

Remember back when you were young and bath time was so much FUN?!

Well, as you can see we got our camera back from the shop and indeed it works, so we can capture all the little Jackson-moments.

Father and Son Day

Camera in the shop, so no pics, but Steve had the day off, so while Mom was sleeping, Dad took Jackson to the duck pond and they kicked the pigeons. Jackson can recount this perfectly... then they went to get cheap-chinease and Jackson tried to learn how to use chopsticks... good luck with that- mommy can't even do it right! But the boys had a fun day together!!

OUT OF ORDER

Sorry folks, our camera is not working currently, so although there is plenty to photograph, no cute Jackson pics this week. Of note, Jackson's vocabulary has EXPLODED since Halloween. He is saying names and putting small sentences together that are surprising and delighting mom and dad. He LOVES to chew gum, he looks pretty grown up chomping around the house. AND he has un-potty-trained himself, so we are back in diapers for this week. Accidents around the clock, oh boy. But he is so much FUN anyway!!
Will work on getting our two broken cameras fixed... Nicole

OCTOBER FESTIVITIES

What a great month is October! Often overlook, but the weather is always beautiful and the anticipation of holiday fun hangs in the air!

Earlier in the month we went to the Underwood Family Farm for the second year to see the great big pumpkin patch.  Jackson had fun playing with his friends from the ward!

This Halloween we were lucky enough to be in Idaho with family! Here is Jackson as a pirate with Dad who just got home from Elk Camp.  Aunt Jenna taught Jackson how to say "ARGH MATE" and brandish his dagger.

Saturday night we had a Boyle Family party at Aunt Kristen's house. Grandma Boyle planned a few Halloween games and we all dressed up and ran around like crazy. Uncle Jon made some awesome hot wings. Here are all the cousins dressed up. Cousin Riley was a pirate too!

Once again, it was great to be with family! Can't wait until the next time! See you all soon!
