I am a better dental student than baker

Jackson likes to try on different shoes. Tonight he was trying on dads basketball shoes. Gaurd or Forward? The little guy looks more like a gaurd to me.
With moms help I baked bread. Nicole made scones for dinner and told me to use the rest of the dough. so it was either 50 scones or a loaf and half of bread.

There isn't much of a top to it even though I let it rise for almost an hour. It still tastes good.

State of the Union

Jan 27- State of the Union Address. Jackson can't help but calp EVERY TIME all the political yahoos decide to stand and clap. He'll drop whatever he is doing and give full attention to the TV.

Glad to see some budding patriotism. Maybe he'll take after Uncle JD.

Civil Rights Day and More

Sorry friends and family for the lack of posting recently, I've been having technical difficulties uploading pictures. Here is a glimpse into what we did on our rainy day off last week.
1) We went to a place called Pho79 (I think that's what it was called,. A viatnamese place in Alhambra. It was right up Steve's alley. Jackson wasn't so sure about it.

2) Because it was raining, our friends invited us to an indoor kids' play area in South Pasadena. Jackson loved playing with the balls and going down (and up) the bouncy slide.

3) This picture is for Julianne: (I love this bathroom!)

Steven was pretty dissappointed it was raining since this meant he didn't get to go spearfishing. The rain finally let up Saturday, but the surf report said 6 foot waves which makes for poor visibility.
Since then, Jackson has been babbling constantly and saying a few intelligble things. He understands a lot, such as "Where are your socks?" and "Can you throw this away?" He knows where the milk is and tries to open the fridge. He also likes to wear our shoes and he can actually make it from the bedroom to the living room in heels. He likes to sweep the floor and he will finally sit to read a book. Here are some cute pictures of him sitting in the laundry basket watching sports with Dad:

Since I made a scrapbook for 2009, I have been kind of picture-burnt-out, so I'll try to be better at capturing the moments and keeping everyone posted!
