Jackson Gets Daring

Since Aunt Jenna moved to CA to be a nanny, she left Glenda the Gecko with us until she can find more permanent home. Jackson loves to play with Glenda, but he is torn between curiosity and fear. Here is Glenda coming after Jackson.

Wildlife at Lopez Lake

This ws the biggest buck we saw on our trip. I think he was a three point but pretty big compared to everything else and considering the deer were super small bodied.














This little buck was a spike on one side and a two point on the other but was getting rutty on this pint sized doe.















Here are the toms strutting. There weren't any hens in the group.














This shows how small the deer were. that post the doe is standing by is about 2 and a half feet tall at best.

I came home from swimming this morning and Jackson was watching the cattle auction with Steve. When Steve went to take a shower, Jackson took over the driver's seat:

"I'm pretty sure this is how you use this thing!"

Jackson has been figuring out all kinds of things. He's been throwing away his own diaper, trying to plug in the electric toothbrush, and combing his hair. He's ready for the real world now!

Aunt Jenna Moves to Town

Aunt Jenna took a job being a nanny in Murrieta CA, about 60min south of where we live in LA. Sunday she made the drive and stayed with us. Monday we made a trip together to WHOLE FOODS, the amazingly high priced but mouth-watering grocery store. Here is a picture of some of the culinary delights.

Monday night we went with Jen to meet her new family. We look forward to seeing her more often.
